What is in place

Checked automatically across every page of this website, together with contrast measurements in the browser. Last checked on 15 October 2026.

• Every image that carries content has a text alternative
• Every form field is linked to a label
• The language of the page is declared in the markup
• Each page has exactly one main heading, and the levels follow without gaps
• Regions are marked up as landmarks, and the navigation is named
• A skip link to the main content on every page
• Decorative icons are hidden from screen readers
• Text contrast is at least 4.5:1, measured on every light surface
• A visible focus ring for keyboard use, two pixels in the brand colour
• The current page is marked programmatically in the navigation
• Most controls are at least 44 pixels high; the language switch and the menu button are smaller
• Nothing flashes and nothing starts audio. The logo ribbon moves on its own, stops on mouse contact and stands still under reduced motion

Legal framework

The Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz, the German act implementing the European Accessibility Act, has applied since 28 June 2025 to products and services aimed at consumers. flynne is offered to companies and public sector bodies and does not fall under it. We nevertheless follow BITV 2.0 and EN 301 549, because public sector buyers apply those standards in their procurement, and because a selection procedure has to be open to everyone who takes part in it.
