People at work in Logistics & transport

Many sites, fast hiring cycles, no appointments that fall through

Many sites, high turnover, fast hiring cycles: flynne keeps the selection operation running, with self-booking, automatic reminders and disruption detection before appointments fall apart.

The procedure comes to the applicant.

Planned across sites, with the reminder on the phone instead of in a portal.

Licences with an expiry date.

Driver qualification, dangerous goods, clearance: every certificate with its own deadline.

Seasonal peaks made plannable.

One template procedure is multiplied instead of negotiating every slot.

Fewer no-shows.

Reminder chains and an early warning when a confirmation does not come back.

Built for volume and speed

The certificates that decide who may work

flynne issues none of them. It runs them as their own stages with an expiry date and warns in advance.

Driving licence
The basis for everything else. Once it lapses, the person may not drive.
Driver qualification and training
To be renewed on a fixed cycle, otherwise commercial driving ends with the deadline.
Dangerous goods certificate
Extra training on a shorter repeat cycle, run as its own stage.
Security clearance
Prescribed for security areas. The start date depends on the authority, not on you.

Who drives, dispatches and picks

Every role brings its own rules, its own participants and a bottleneck of its own.

Professional drivers

Driving licence, initial qualification and regular further training determine who may drive, and when somebody has to stop because a deadline has passed. Selection and deadline management therefore belong together. On top of that, applicants are rarely at the site; the procedure has to come to them.

Dangerous goods and special transport

Additional certificates, shorter repeat cycles, higher reliability requirements. Selecting here means checking not only aptitude but the completeness of a chain of certificates, each with its own expiry date.

Air freight and security areas

For work in security areas an official background check is prescribed. The start date therefore depends on the authority rather than on the company. The selection procedure has to be finished beforehand and has to bridge the waiting time without losing the applicant.

Warehouse and order picking

Volume selection with seasonal peaks: before Christmas, hundreds of applicants are moved within a few days. What counts is throughput without a loss of quality, and procedures that can also handle agency staff and contractors.

Scheduling and control room

Deciding under time pressure with incomplete information, plus the ability to handle conflict with drivers and customers. That shows in case work, not in a CV. Such procedures need assessors from the field.

Which certificates decide who may work

Professional driver qualification

Initial qualification and further training at fixed intervals are a precondition for commercial driving. If a deadline passes, the person may not drive. flynne carries the evidence as a stage of the procedure with an expiry date and warns beforehand, instead of leaving it to one person’s calendar.

Dangerous goods regulations

Transporting dangerous goods requires additional training certificates with their own repeat cycles. Carried as a stage of its own, missing evidence blocks deployment automatically.

LuftSiG § 7: background check

Anyone working in security areas has to have passed an official check, repeated at fixed intervals. flynne does not carry out the check but holds status, expiry date and the link to the procedure together.

Driving personnel law

Driving and rest periods are not only a deployment topic. Anyone inviting drivers to a selection procedure has to observe them, and so does anyone using drivers as assessors. flynne takes rest periods into account when scheduling.

DIN 33430 and the EU AI Act

Where people decide about vehicles and dangerous goods, a documented aptitude assessment is more than a formality: it is the basis you fall back on after an incident. The standard describes how that works. And the EU AI Act draws the line where flynne already stands: people judge, the AI works on the organisation.

Common questions from this sector

Our applicants are on the road and rarely at the site. Does that work?

Yes. Procedures can be planned across sites, and candidates book themselves into pre-planned windows, including at a site other than the hiring one. Reminders go to the phone, not into a portal nobody logs into.

Can we carry certificates and background checks along?

Yes, each as a stage of its own with a status and an expiry date. flynne issues nothing and checks no content, but it records what exists, warns before expiry and only allows dependent steps once it is done.

How do you handle seasonal peaks?

Procedure templates and pre-planned date windows are built exactly for this: a template procedure is multiplied instead of every appointment being agreed individually. The day overview shows where throughput is stuck: on rooms, on assessors or on replies that never came.

We work with agency staff and contractors. Can that be kept apart?

Yes. Types of procedure and reporting can be separated by form of employment, and so can the costs; that is built for internal cost allocation to several cost centres.
